Vehr Communications

After we partnered with Vehr Communications on some client work they contacted us requesting an analysis and recommendations for their previous web site. We responded with a full critique describing what the site did well, what it didn’t, and how we would recommend changing it.

• Updating design with a modern and open look
• Cleaning up the page markup (removing lengthy header code, removing layout tables, using proper tags) to improve readability by search engines
• Integrating blog directly into the site instead of hosting it off-site
• Building with a content management system–in this case WordPress

Vehr’s updated site, launched in 2010, was a big improvement to their image, and at the time of this writing Vehr is ranked on the first page in Google for “Cincinnati PR” and “Cincinnati Public Relations,” without any use of search engine marketing.
