Skills

  • Flash/Actionscript Authoring

    I’ve worked with Flash in multiple projects including e-learning courses, xml-driven quizzes, and animated advertisements.

  • ASP.net Development

    Used .net 2.0 to create data-driven websites for the Health Alliance and other independent clients. Examples include a custom management plan tracking application, sites with simplified CMS features and forms authentication, a document management site, and an implementation and customization of the open source app BlogEngine.net.

  • CSS and XHTML

    Proficient with web standards and modern SEO-friendly website construction.

  • Graphic Design for Web and CD-ROM

    Received training in design at UC DAAP. Although I’ve never held the title “designer,” throughout my career I’ve been continuously called upon to design sites and presentations.

  • SharePoint Administration and Customization

    Currently leading administration and deployment of the Health Alliance’s SharePoint portal. This includes creating starter sites, leading demos, presenting training sessions, and working on visual customizations.

    I currently maintain and create web sites for Health Alliance hospitals and departments. This ranges from routine maintenance to developing new ideas. I’ve facilitated our transition from Lotus Domino to ASP.net 2.0 web servers. I’m leading our efforts to move our Intranet into SharePoint 2007.

  • Freelance Interactive Media Developer, 2005 to Present

    Provided design, web development, and e-Learning authoring for clients including Cincinnati Bell, Purcell Associates, and Accelerated Business Results.

  • Curtis, Inc.: Interactive Media Developer, 1999 to 2004

    Created CD and web-based solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Learned to work in a fast-paced environment. Also provided sales support and assisted with proposals and documentation.
